La Tannerie
La Tannerie is a group of six properties situated within an acre of garden in the centre of the small market town of Chalais. With its 12 metre heated swimming pool and variety of cottages, La Tannerie is an ideal place for a relaxing family holiday.
All the town’s facilities are just a stroll along the road, and include a large supermarket, bakers, butchers, chemists, Doctors and post office. There’s no need for a car to collect the morning croissants!
The Properties
La Maison de Maitre – pictured to the left above – sleeps up to 10 in four en suite bedrooms. This is a spacious family home and offers 2 sitting rooms with dining room and kitchen. To the rear of the house is a deck overlooking the pool and garden.
Les Baignades – sleeps up to 6 with one double and a second bedroom with up to four beds. The downstairs consists of a large living/dining room with fully-fitted kitchen and additional downstairs WC. Les Baignades has a seating area facing towards the pool.
La Sècherie – pictured to the right above – sleeps up to five in two bedrooms. It too has a large living/dining room with fitted kitchen. La Sècherie has a seating area on the south-facing side of the house.
Les Étables consists of 3 individual gites converted from the former stable block.
Étable 1 sleeps 2 in one large bedroom. Étable 2 and Étable 3 both have 2 bedrooms and sleep up to 4. All these gites have a living/dining room with fitted kitchen.
