La Lavande - sleeps 4
La Lavande is the largest of the barn gites. This building, when the tannery was fully functional, housed a workshop where as many as 60 people were employed to make leather buttons.
La Lavande is located within the central section of the barn, as can be seen from the adjacent diagram.
(Please note: in June 2016 we unfortunately had to have the willow tree removed.)
The ground floor consists of an airy and light open-plan sitting-dining-kitchen.
The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine, as well as coffee maker and all kitchen utensils.
There is a dining table in the centre of the room, and a pair of settees and an armchair complete the picture.
There are French and English TV channels available as well as a wireless internet connection.
La Lavande has two bedrooms, including a large master bedroom with double bed. There is room in this bedroom for a cot or child's bed to be added.
The second bedroom is more compact and includes a sturdy pair of bunk beds.
The large bathroom has a shower, washbasin and WC. Heating is by a heated towel rail.
There is a large seating area contained within the walls of the old mill that is currently shared by all three of the barn gites.
There are ample tables and chairs for all guests, and a selection of barbecues. Shade is provided by umbrellas.
All guests have free use of the pool as well as the extensive gardens, where more seating is to be found.
